I love Nat & Drew!

That was super fun!
We were on the radio this morning with Nat & Drew, from Virgin 95.3. They have a fun segment that they do every Thursday morning for charities and businesses. To my surprise, they picked us to be their client this week! YAY!!!!
 They are awesome.

I was a little worried I was going to sound like such a dork. Surprisingly, I did not so bad. I hate hearing myself though.

It's so funny to talk to them on the phone. It's so surreal. After listening to them every morning for so many years on the radio. They are totally on it with their banter. I kind of felt like I was interrupting them at times. Sorry guys! I really do love Nat's sense of humor.

Here is the link below, to their ad's they did for Soylent Green.

 Which one would you choose???
I loved both of them in real life & it was so hard to choose.

Do you think I made the right choice?

Helping hands

It's been such a journey to complete the Soylent Green trailer. I couldn't have done it with out my mom and a few good friends who came through when I was in total need.

The trailer is all done and I am so thankful for the handful of good people that I have in my life. Without them, I may still be puttering around the trailer trying to get things done all by myself. I know I have a problem reaching out asking for help, and I resist asking all the time. I am so amazed by the kindness of people when I do ask for help. Why I wait, is beyond me!!! Usually it gets to the point of me, being on the verge of a nervous breakdown before I actually ask for that help - LOL!!!  I had quite a few of those moments getting Soylent Green finished up. I don't know if it's that I have bad luck? or just weird things like to happen only to me... Like, City Hall sending me an already expired business license??! Thanks, City Hall. Why? Why would that happen?!!! The clerk at City Hall had a good laugh at that one, when I had to make yet another visit to their office. I actually have a long list of all the crazy things that I've gone through on this project.

But, it's all past me now.

Good things are a head. With great weather just around the corner, it feels great. Being in the trailer slingin' smoothies to the folk, feels right. Awesome things are happening. I can't wait to share all the things that Soylent Green is up to this summer with you.

Thank you to all the people that made Soylent Green a reality. From the very start, to the women who sold the trailer to me & at the very end, when Asami was writing out our menu and just adding the finishing touches to it. And when Laszlo came out just minutes before I was to be inspected to fix my crazy water pump. We made it! You were a total life saver at that point, Laszlo! Thank youuuuu!

Soylent Green and all her greatness couldn't have happened without any of you.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Now come and get your smoothie on!
I owe you all big time!!!

We ARE D-O-N-E!

I apologize for lack of posts!!!
But, it seems that life has been a whirlwind since I last blogged about the trailer. One thing that is soooo true, is that things ALWAYS take longer than you expect. Without a doubt.
But, with all that patience and perseverance I present to you...
Soylent Green,
 in all her completeness!
Woot-wooooooo!!! Isn't she lovely!!???

It's been a crazy ride finally getting to this point. I am so excited to be through all the "pre"-Soylent Green world. Now I am "in" Soylent Green world and literally hours away from officially
slinging yummy smoothies to the people! So excited!!!!

It's all I have wanted to do since I first laid eyes on this project.
Now, it's here. The day has come.
We are working towards being open on Tuesday!

Tuuuuuuuuuesday!!!!???

YAY!!!!

Hope to seeeee YOU at the trailer!!!
